Food Poisoning
Food poisoning affects millions of Americans every year and , unfortunately, more common than most people know. Food poisoning can happen anywhere; whether you are cooking at home or out to eat at a 5-star restaurant there is no telling when your food may be contaminated. Symptoms
Food poisoning happens relatively quickly from coming in contact with the infected food; to the symptoms that you may feel. Some symptoms that you may experience from food poisoning are:
- Stomach cramps
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Weakness
- Loss of Appetite
- Fever
If you are feeling any of these symptoms the best thing you should do is get some rest and keep your body hydrated. If you are experiencing nausea & diarrhea it is possible you may be dehydrated. Food poisoning is not something that you should want to handle on your own. If possible go to FirstCall Medical Center for treatment.
